Physical Therapy that treats the whole person to achieve optimal physical and emotional wellness
What to expect at your appointment
I utilize a holistic approach to treatment using manual therapy, myofascial and joint mobilization, behavioral techniques / suggestions and proven exercise regimens. Some pelvic floor rehab patients may need to use biofeedback. My extensive experience means that I can usually treat your problem with fewer appointments. I work one-on-one with each client for 50 minutes.. You will never be handed off to a PT assistant or to a PT aide. The program you learn will be tailored specifically for you. You will never waste time on generic exercises that are not appropriate for you.
A thorough review of your history and a nuero-musculo-skeletal assessment.
An opinion about your potential for improvement and achieving your treatment goals.
A series of appointments to treat your condition and guide your progress.
A specifically designed home program which requires your active participation.
Direct access provider
I am a direct access provider in PA which allows me to see patients for 30 days prior to having a referral from a physician. This can be very helpful for many patients as I can often get people in for an evaluation quicker than they might get into their doctor. We can work together to get things going in the right direction while you wait for your appointment with your doctor. If I would think that you needed to see your doctor sooner, I would recommend that and help you get in there as early as possible.
Although in the state of Pennsylvania you have access to evaluation and treatment by a physical therapist without a physician's referral, problems with bowel, bladder or pelvic pain should be evaluated first by your medical doctor. If you come to therapy without a medical referral I can evaluate you and then may request you visit your healthcare provider if I feel it is in your best interest.
Also, regarding any issue that may bring you into my office, your insurance guidelines and policy may require a doctor's prescription or a pre-authorization for you to be reimbursed. See insurance benefit worksheet (under Forms) for more information on this.
Fees
My fees are based on the time spent with you and the treatments performed during your appointment. The fee ranges are as follows:

$150 per treatment session 50 minutes
